Goals for 2013: Go Mobile, Raise Funds and Take State

Create your new year’s resolutions in 2013 by setting three goals: go mobile with a new website, increase more revenue in less time, and win a state title. In 2012, the Allen Eagles football program took their online presence mobile, generated $40,000, and also finished their year by hoisting the state championship trophy.

How did Allen achieve all three? We’ll show you…

Implement the Mobi

After years of using the more traditional desktop layout for their team website, the Eagles stepped forward into the mobile arena by purchasing their very own Mobi, the first all-in-one desktop-mobile combination that includes a built-in fundraising tool to boost revenue for any high school program. Allen’s on-the-go football fans spent the entire season easily accessing the very latest mobile rosters, schedules, news, and photos with the touch of a button on their smartphones.

Raise $40,000 in Total Revenue

In conjunction with a brand-new mobile app and website, Allen also utilized the fundraising tool known as the “Super Fan Program” to generate $40,000 in less than an hour. As a result of running the fundraiser, parents, grandparents, teachers, students and many others were able to leave a tribute message for their favorite player combined with their donation to the program. The revenue generator creates a tremendous team-building environment for athletes and raises funds needed to upgrade jerseys, helmets, pads and more for players.

Win A State Title

The Eagles created plenty of buzz after capping off a 15-1 season with a state championship victory. The live scoreboard was the number one accessed icon for the entire season as Eagle fans across the nation reached for the most reliable source for real-time scores. News of the captured crown spread quickly as several pictures and stories from the game were posted to highlight the biggest moments from the memorable season-ending game.
